On Saturday April 27, Joan Elizabeth Gibson Hocker passed away peacefully while under medical supervision at Riddle Memorial Hospital in Media, PA. Joan had relocated to Maris Grove Senior Living campus in March, 2023.
Prior to that, she had lived in Heritage Park in Wilmington, DE for 61 years. Joan was married to Robert G. Hocker for 68 years prior to his passing in 2020. Joan is survived by sons Stephen and Andrew Hocker.
Funeral Arrangements and cremation will be handled by McCrery & Harra (3710 Kirkwood Hwy, Wilmington, DE). A Memorial service will be held in the summer (July/August) at Limestone Presbyterian Church on Limestone Road. Details to be announced prior to the summer service.
