MARVIN E. HARDING

Marvin E. Harding died peacefully December 13th after a battle with cancer. He was born in Jamesport, Missouri to Lynn and Verda (Chaney) Harding. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Lynn, Jr. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Jean Ann; his sister, Maryetta Ray; his four children Robert (Kathy), Scott (Audrey), Cynthia Fielitz (Glenn) and Michael (Anne); his eight grandchildren, Andrea Scali (John), Jennifer Hitzel (Dave), John Harding, Gracie Harding, Kaitlin and Kara Yeomans, Kim and Jamie Harding; two step-grandsons, Matthew and Austin Fielitz and one great-granddaughter, Hayley Lynn Hitzel.

He served with the Missouri Air Guard during the Korean War. He was a graduate of Goldey Beacom College and was employed by the Artesian Water Co., retiring after 32 years of service.

A celebration of life will be held at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 2313 Concord Pike, Wilmington, DE 19803 at 11:00 am on Thursday December 22nd. Burial will be private.

The family wishes to thank the caregivers at Bayada and Shipley Manor Heath Care.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Aldersgate United Methodist Church.
