Harold John Kuhn, age 81, of Wilmington, DE, died on Feb. 8, 2017 at St Francis Hospital.
Hal was born in Buffalo, NY. His parents were from Southern Germany and he was proud to be a 1st generation American. He graduated from Bishop Fallon High School and continued his education at Bryant and Stratton Business School in Buffalo, NY. After 2 transfers with Ingersoll Rand Hal’s dream of owning his own business came true. In 1974, with his business partner, Gerry Wybranski, Hal purchased Fiduk’s Industrial Services and after 42 years he reluctantly retired due to blindness.
He is survived by his wife of 56 yrs., Agnes S Kuhn; 3 children; Pamela (Warren) Hoy of Buffalo, NY; Michael Kuhn of Newark, DE; Patty (Buck) Miller of Piperton, TN; 8 grandchildren; Brandon Hoy, Holden Hoy and Dr. Austin (Kendall) Hoy of Dallas /Ft Worth; Kyle (Lindsey) Miller of Piperton, TN; Amanda (Matthew) Collette of Holmdell, NJ; Ryan Miller of Boston, MA; Cody Miller of Gilbert, AZ; Jacy Miller of Piperton, TN and 1 great granddaughter, Mylee Miller of Piperton, TN.
The family would like to express deep appreciation to Dr. Miroslov Zdunek for his years of extraordinary care and compassion. We are also grateful for the friendship and spiritual care our family received from Fr. Andrew Molewski, Fr Anthony Giamello and Fr. John McFadden.
