Henry Davis Manning, born November 6, 1943 in Brunswick, Georgia to the late Lillian and Henry Ward Manning, passed away at home on Friday February 24, 2017 after a long illness.
He got his degree in chemistry at the University of Georgia and worked as a shift chemist there. He proudly served in the U.S. Army, did two tours of duty in Vietnam where he was awarded a Purple Heart. Afterwards he had careers in food service and transportation. His loves were football, politics, and most of all, woodworking. Funeral services and burial will be private.
