Lisa was born in Wilmington, DE on November 22, 1968 and died March 29, 2017 with her family by her side. Lisa grew up loving to sing and dance and was always involved in those pursuits. Lisa was very musically inclined, and could play the piano, clarinet and flute.
She was in the Conrad band and was part of the many awards for excellence they won both here and in other states. Her high school experience was at St. Elizabeth’s where she graduated with the only award for perfect attendance from Pre K-High School, She also won top honors in business and typing.
The DuPont Company gave her a grant to Goldey-Beacom College. Lisa worked for the DuPont Company for many years until the elimination of many jobs. She then went on to work as a legal secretary. Her last work experience was with an architect who created many facilities for persons with disabilities.
Lisa is survived by her mother, Joan Foster; her pride and joy Hayley Ann Dukes, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Lisa is now free to join her beloved father Ronald, who died in October 2015, and many other loved ones.
A service for Lisa will be held on Tuesday April 11 at 2pm in the chapel of Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 N. Dupont Highway New Castle, DE 19720. Burial will follow immediately after the service.
