Dorothy M. (Zakielarz) Schukraft, age 79, of Elkton, Maryland, formerly of Wilmington, Delaware, died peacefully on April 10th, 2017. She was born in Chester, Pennsylvania, where she lived for a number of years. She was a 1955 graduate of Notre Dame High School in Moylan, Rose Valley, PA. She was previously employed at Scott Paper Company in Philadelphia and the University of Delaware, and then spent several decades managing her husband’s photography business.
Mrs. Schukraft is predeceased by her husband, Ingo and by her parents, Joseph and Mary (Ridgik) Zakielarz. She is survived by her daughter Erika Terl (Matt), two grandchildren - Penelope and Noah - and her four siblings, brothers Thomas and Joseph, and sisters Barbara Holmberg and Mary Jane Jackson and by numerous nephews and nieces. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, April 18th at 10:30 am at Saint Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, 7 Sharpley Road, Wilmington, Delaware 19803.
