Richard M. Domyan, Jr., 38 of Wilmington, DE passed away on June 10, 2017. Rich graduated from Middletown High School in 1997. Always one to have multiple jobs, his primary employment was in the maintenance department at Christiana Care, where he held a position as a Mechanic II. He also enjoyed two decades of service at Christiana Skating Center, where he worked as DJ and manager (and personality). He also worked in a fire prevention and security role at the Wilmington GM plant.

Rich was an avid Eagles fan and a season ticket holder who never missed a game. He was extremely generous and had a competitive spirit, and was very passionate about donating blood, receiving numerous awards like Top Donor for his dedication and donation to the Blood Bank of Delmarva, which he visited as often as he was allowed.

Rich was a loyal friend and beloved family member, touching many lives and making a difference. Universally described as loving, caring, and dedicated, he was loved by many people all over the state. He had no fear of traveling and also loved fishing.

He is survived by his mother Susan Sterling-Yeager (Frank); his father Richard M. Domyan, Sr. (Mary); his sister, Amy Zelie (Rob); his brothers, Terry Zorich, Greg Zorich, Nicholas Domyan; his beloved fiancé, Heather Greene; niece, Rachel Kerrin Carter; nephew Tyler Zorich; and many other adoring family and friends.

Services for Rich will be held on Thursday, June 15, 2017 at McCrery & Harra Funeral Home, 3710 Kirkwood HWY, Wilm., DE. A visitation will be from 4-6pm, with a service following at 6pm. Burial will be private.

The family respectfully requests no flowers. Instead, consider a monetary donation in his name to the Blood Bank of Delmarva or consider becoming a blood donor in his memory.
