Jennifer Chappell Moore, age 59 of Hartly, DE formerly of Wilmington, died on September 8, 2017. She was born in Wilmington to James F. and Edna (Blevins) Chappell. She graduated from William Penn High School in 1976.

Jennifer was a beloved wife and mother and will be greatly missed by her family. Jennifer loved and cared for her dogs and animals of every kind.
She also enjoyed listening to music and reading. Recently, she and David, her husband of 31 years, settled into Hartly where they loved spending time in their new country home. She also cherished spending time with friends and family.

She is predeceased by her parents. She is survived by her husband David G. Moore; her children Robin Brabson-Christopher (Dale) and Curtis Moore (Jessie); her sister Deborah Wyatt (Kenneth); her brothers Larry H. Chappell and David D. Chappell (Karen); and her faithful companions Autumn and Nikki.

Friends may call on the family for a viewing on Thursday, September 14, 2017 from 6-8pm at McCrery & Harra Funeral Home, 3710 Kirkwood Hwy, Wilmington, DE. The family has asked that friends and family dress casually, classic rock t-shirts would especially help honor her memory.

There will be a funeral service on Friday, September 15, 2017 at 11am, also at McCrery & Harra on Kirkwood Hwy. Burial will follow at Gracelawn Memorial Park. Services will be officiated by The Rev. Tom Edwards, senior pastor at St. Marks United Methodist Church where Jennifer was a member.
