John was a devoted husband, father, pop-pop, brother, uncle, and friend. He loved taking his family camping, especially to Shenandoah, spending time with relatives, and walking his dogs through White Clay. After retiring from Delmarva Power, he enjoyed traveling the world with his wife. At the end of his life, John suffered from a degenerative lung disease, and his family takes comfort that he is no longer in pain and is now in the care of his Lord and Savior.
