Rebecca B. “Becky” Perdue, age 75, of Wilmington, DE, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her family on Sunday, November 12, 2017.
She was born in Wilmington, DE and was the daughter of the late Harvey Moore and Bertha Moore Boyer. Becky worked as a teacher at Silverbrook Presbyterian Day Care. She enjoyed her flowers, watching the birds and the simple things in life. Most cherished to her was spending time with “Her Four Girls” and her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Becky is survived by “Her Four Girls”, Debra Gagnon (Jerry), Rebecca Bendistis (Steve), Cheryl Isom and Terry Hendrickson and her husband Tracy who was like a son to her, 11 grandchildren, Shannon, Andy, Brenda, Jimmy, Michelle, Steven, Michael, Tara, Curtis, Joey and Brandy and 17 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her grandson, Johnny Isom, her former husband, James Perdue; her brothers, David and Harvey Moore, her step father, Walter Boyer and her beloved dog, Taffy.
The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to all the staff of Delaware Hospice.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, November 15, from 6-8 pm, at the McCrery & Harra Funeral Homes, 3710 Kirkwood Hwy, Wilmington, where a funeral service will be celebrated on Thursday, November 16, at 11 am. Burial will follow at Silverbrook Cemetery.
