The colorful and one of a kind Matthew Brennan died suddenly on April 15, 2018 having lived with gusto until the last minute.

Matthew is survived by his beloved children, James and Richard; Monica Brennan; and his siblings Cormac, Amy, Cullan, Michael, and Thomas.

Always cheerful, he glowed with the joy of life, wanted everyone to be happy, treasured his many friends, was a go-to guy generous with his time and talents, and ever ready to drop everything and lend a hand, with a smile. He was a meticulous master mechanic who kept countless vehicles purring. He loved nature - served medium-rare, and ruled the grill and smoker. A vintage yellow Chris Craft was his pride and joy, and he spent many happy hours in it on the Bohemia River.
