Tyler Clarke, 25, of Wilmington, DE passed away suddenly in his home on June 29, 2018 and has joined his heavenly family.

Tyler was born in Riverside, CA on May 20, 1993 and moved with his family to Wilmington, DE in 1998. Tyler attended Concord High School where he graduated in 2011 along with many of his close friends.

From the time Tyler was 6-years old he loved playing baseball and spending time with his many friends, often wearing his competitive nature on his sleeve but his love for the sport was always present.

Tyler spent his early adult years working as an auto mechanic. Soiled uniforms, grease covered hands, and exhausted brow would often be seen after his long work days but the joy he showed for his son and family brought him many highlights.

Tyler will be remembered for his big loving heart, diligent work ethic and his sense of humor. He was a loving uncle and a proud father who was liked by all those he met. His smile will be greatly missed.

Tyler leaves behind his beautiful son, Gavin, his parents Teresa (Kent) Myers and Todd Clarke, his siblings, Brooke (Clarke) Walker (George Walker), Sidney Clarke, Jacob Clarke and Brian Myers, his step-parents, Steve Myers and Mary (Arrow) Clarke and step-siblings including Jeremy Myers, Aaron Myers, Jacob Arrow, and Rebekka Arrow. His nieces and nephews, Maci, McKinley, Gannon and Grayson Walker. He is also survived by his grandparents S. Callis and Lorene Clarke; and many remaining relatives and friends.

Tyler is preceded in death by his beloved Nana, Dana Kent and grandmother Mary Trout, grandfather Richard Kent, and his maternal and paternal great-grandparents.

The visitation will be held on Friday, July 6, 2018 from 10:00am – 11:30am at McCrery & Harra Funeral Home, located at 3924 Concord Pike Wilmington, DE 19803. Services will begin at 11:30am, with burial at Chester Bethel Cemetery immediately following. A reception will be held at the home of Steve and Teresa Myers after the burial. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Tyler’s life.
