Wilmington - Jason Robert Barrowclough, age 31, passed away Friday, August 24, 2018.
He was born in Wilmington and is the son of Donna (Nester) and Willard Barrowclough. He graduated Valedictorian from Delcastle HS in 2005 and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Geology from the University of Delaware in 2009, where he was also Valedictorian. Jason worked at Earth Wind Fire & Ice since high school. He was a member of Delaware Mineralogical Society since age 12 and an Eagle Scout with BSA Troop 62. Jason participated in the Lewes Polar Bear Plunge for Special Olympics for 16 years.
Along with his parents Willard and Donna, he is survived by 2 brothers, Eric and Keith; “adopted brother” Mike Phillips; step mother Janet and 2 step siblings, Tracey Ginn (Chris) and Robert Lynch (Shannon); aunts and uncles, Virginia Hanthorne (Ted), Mary Nester, Patricia Young (Liam), Elizabeth Arnone (Marc), Les Antalffy and 5 cousins, Danielle, Janine, Matthew, Alyssa and Joshua. Jason is preceded in death by his aunt, Carol Antalffy.

A viewing will be held on Thurs, Aug. 30, from 6-8 pm, at the McCrery & Harra Funeral Home, 3924 Concord Pike, Wilmington. A funeral service will take place at the funeral home on Friday, Aug. 31, at 11 am, where friends may call after 10 am. Burial will be held privately.
