Paul H. Winter, 63, of Newark, DE passed away on Tuesday, September 11, 2018. Paul was a graduate of the Philadelphia School of Art and Design. He was employed and served as lead designer for 40 years with Zenith Corporation where he is credited with numerous patents. Many of his designs are marketed by Lowes, Home Depot, JC Penney and Sears, and may be seen in your own bathroom today. Paul retired due to disability in 2013. He enjoyed travel - A globe captures cities he visited internationally. Paul was an avid gardener and loved decorating his home for various holidays.
Paul is survived by his nephew and Godson Tim Bain of Frederick, MD; cousin, Debbie Bain of Magnolia, DE, and his extended family, Peter Cronk and family and Rick Smith, all of NJ. A visitation will be on Tuesday, September 18 from 6-8 pm at the McCrery and Harra Funeral Home, 3710 Kirkwood Highway Wilmington 19808. A memorial service will be Wednesday morning at 9:30 am at the funeral home. Burial will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Paul may be made to the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke, Financial Management Branch NSC Building, Room 3280, 6001 Executive Blvd, MSC 9531, North Bethesda, MD 20852-9531.
