Nancy L. Walls passed away on August 3, 2022 surrounded by her family.
She was born in Wilmington, DE to the late Millard and Viola Buck. Nancy worked as a mail clerk at Principal Bank and was a long-time employee at Kmart in Pike Creek.
She will be greatly missed by her daughters, Robin Russell (Frank), Tammy Taft (Roger) and Holly (Walls) Galbraith, her grandchildren, Joseph Russell, Dakotah Ross, Autumn Slavens, and Matthew Taft, her great-grandchild, Rowan Ross and her sister and best friend Hope Coning. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Millard and Viola, her sister Betty Redding, her granddaughter, Paige Taft, and her former husband Edward Walls.
Nancy was a breast cancer survivor and her greatest joy in life was the love and success of her family. She loved music and dancing, sun filled days at the beach, roller coasters, cheering on her Philadelphia Eagles, and spending time with her grandchildren.
A viewing will be held on Monday, August 8, 2022 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the McCrery & Harra Funeral Home, 3710 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington, DE 19808 where a service will follow at 11:00 a.m. Entombment will be in Silverbrook Cemetery. To send condolences visit: www.mccreryandharra.com
