James E. Whisler, 82, of Wilmington, DE passed away on December 17, 2022. He was employed by DuPont for 30+ years. James was a member of DelVets VFW, and enjoyed activities such as going to Rehoboth Beach and bowling. He especially loved spending time with his Jack Russel Terrier, Brandy, as well as his cats. He is survived by his wife, Carole Kershaw Hall; and his mother, Doris Whisler. James was preceded in death by his father, George E. Whisler; and sister, D. Jean Whisler.
A public viewing will be held at McCrery & Harra Funeral Home (3924 Concord Pike, Wilmington, DE 19803) on December 27, 2022 from 10:30 - 11am, followed immediately by a service at 11. Burial will take place at Lawn Croft Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please send contributions to the Delaware Humane Society.
