Thomas J. Popo, age 65, died Monday, July 10, 2023 at home.
Tom was the owner of Plush Limo Service and Plush Lawn Service. Tom loved animals, especially dogs and horses. He had several dalmatians and was a standardbred racehorse owner. Tom followed all the Philadelphia sports teams and enjoyed visiting the casino. In 2012 he joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was very active visiting shut-ins and in various other church ministries.
Tom was predeceased by his parents James R. and Victoria C. Popo, brothers Paul and Robert Popo (Melody), half-sister Anna Marie Popo Troiani (John), and sister-in-law Patricia Popo. He is survived by his sister Paulette Mason Guizzetti, brothers James D. and Philip Popo (Frances), and half-sister Delores Cummings (Larry), as well as many nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Monday, July 17 from 9:30-10 am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 143 Dickinson Ln., Wilmington, DE 19807 with funeral service at 10 am. Interment will follow at Cathedral.
