Diane Crystal Van Velsor, age 81, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 12, 2023, after a long illness.
Diane was born in Long Beach, NJ, and raised in Little Falls, NJ where she attended local schools and graduated from Passaic Valley High School.
Diane relocated to Wilmington, DE in 1991 to be with family. Diane loved animals, especially her cat Willow. She enjoyed watching movies and soap operas. She enjoyed family get togethers especially Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Diane was predeceased by her parents Clement and Marion Van Velsor, and her brother, Wayne Van Velsor. She is survived by her brother Frazier Van Velsor (Cathy), her niece, Daniella DiGennaro (Mike), her nephew Scott Van Velsor (Sarah), her niece Christina Regenauer (Tim), and 5 great-nieces and nephews, Eleanor, Isabel, William, Michael and Aria, and her cat, Willow.
Interment will be private. A celebration of Diane’s life will be held at a future date.
