Paul Rossiter, born April 7th, 1932, passed away peacefully just 3 days short of his 92nd birthday. Born to Joseph and Ruth Rossiter, he grew up in Wilmington, graduated from Wilmington High School and went on to attend the University of Pennsylvania.
Paul was a Veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving in the Air Force. As a CPA, he was Senior Partner of the accounting firm Cover and Rossiter, culminating his career in private accounting.
Paul enjoyed traveling the world with his family and was an avid golfer, excelled in playing cards and loved to shoot pool at the University and Whist Club (President 1977-1979). Paul adored relaxing on the beach whether in Bethany Beach or the Grand Cayman. Paul’s goal in life was to “Take care of the family”.
He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Virginia; sister, Vivian Wisner; sons, Dave & Robert (Janet); 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his daughter, Linda (Charles).
