Jack Alvin Birch, age 77, of Wilmington, Delaware passed away peacefully at home.
Jack is survived by his wife Beverly Dellose Birch of 55 years. He is also survived by his children, Kristin White (William), Karen Klemaszewski (Michael), daughter-in-law Danna Birch, and six grandchildren, Gillian, Evan, Kayla, Nicolas, Travis and Logan. Jack is also survived by his sister, Rhea Markwood and many nieces and nephews.
Jack was predeceased by his parents Stanley and Rhea Birch and his son, Jack Anthony Birch. Jack graduated from H.C. Conrad High School, class of 1964. After high school, he went on to H. Fletcher Brown Vocational School where he achieved his plumbing and heating degree. He started his 40 year career working with his father for Stanley Plumbing and Heating and later he and his wife Beverly became the owners.
Jack had many hobbies; one of his favorites was coaching various sports and baseball. He enjoyed attending sporting and social events for his children and grandchildren of which he was very proud.
A funeral servive for Jack will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at 10:30 am at McCrery & Harra located at 3710 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington DE 19808. Family and friends may call from 9:30 – 10:30 am. Burial will take place following the service at All Saints Cemetery.
