Muna was born in 1946 in Damascus, Syria. She was the cherished only daughter among three brothers: Raif, in France; Nader, in Syria; and the late Nabil.
Muna pursued higher education at Damascus University, where she earned a Master’s degree in Business Administration and Economics. Her career flourished in the Ministry of Economics, where she rose to the esteemed position of Assistant Minister.
