Jeffrey K. Stille, age 68, passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his family, on Friday, May 31, 2024.
He was born in Wilmington, DE and was the son of the late Pauline and Arthur “Bud” Stille Jr.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 42 -plus years, Diane Vones Stille; his children, Mandy Stille (TJ) and Jeffrey Stille Jr. (Brittany); his brother, Arthur “Bud” Stille III (Becky); his grandchildren, Jeffrey III, Abigail, and Rory, with a new addition arriving any day; niece, Cris Shimko (Ron); nephew, Arthur “Buddy” Stille IV; great nephews, Brandon and Eric; great nieces, Lanie and Ava; brother-in-law, David (Debbie); and granddog, Charlie (“Chuck”). He is also survived by numerous aunts and cousins.
In addition to his parents, Jeff is preceded in death by his brother, Wayne.
Jeff was a devoted husband to his “Hunni” and best friend, Diane. He was an incredible dad (PopDukes) and amazing Poppop. His greatest joys were his family and friends. He spent many weekends celebrating life either in Wilmington, Fenwick Island or basically anywhere that served “cold ones” and had great music.
Jeff graduated from Conrad High School, Class of 1973. He was a proud member of the Ironworkers Local 451 and retired in 2013. He was an avid Phillies and Eagles fan. Go Birds!
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, June 6 from 10 a.m. -11 a.m. at McCrery & Harra Funeral Homes, 3710 Kirkwood Hwy, Wilmington. A short memorial service will be held at 11 a.m.
