Stephanie M. Phillips, age 67, of Wilmington, DE, passed away surrounded by family on June 11th, 2024. Stephanie was born in Waco, TX, the daughter of Lee R. and Elizabeth Barker. She graduated from Mount Pleasant High School and retired from Red Clay Consolidated School District. Stephanie was an avid golfer, loved to be poolside, and enjoyed sports. She was a 35year season ticket holder for the Philadelphia Eagles. Her love of the Eagles took her to see all 32 NFL Stadiums, a game in London, and two Super Bowls. She was also a member of the Professional Football Ultimate Fan Association and participated in many charity events helping underprivileged children. Stephanie belonged to this organization since 2004 and the other members quickly became her football family.
Stephanie was preceded in death by her parents and her love of 37 years, Nelson Titter. She is survived by her sister, Karen Barker; her nephew Christopher Barker (Maria); Christine Titter-Landis (Jim); Nieces and Nephews: Sandy Renman (Greg), Susan Green (Mike), Roger Titter (Maryella), Great-Nieces and Nephews: Lauren (Terron), Marissa, Jamie (Caitlyn), Corey, Lexi, Dante, Eva, Sara.
A viewing will be held from 6-8pm, Tuesday, June 18th at the McCrery & Harra Funeral Home, 3710 Kirkwood Highway, where the funeral service will be held at 10 AM, Wednesday, June 19th, followed by interment at Silverbrook Memorial Park.
Stephanie wished that people wear an Eagles shirt/jersey or green to the viewing and/or funeral and that the attire should be casual. She did not want people to dress up.
