Helen Virginia Taylor, age 72, of Wilmington, died June 11, 2024 with her family by her side.
Helen spent her career at Comcast. In retirement she kept busy with her many hobbies that included crochet, puzzles, attending craft fairs, and exercise classes. Football season was her favorite time of the year, and she spent her down time watching her beloved game show channel. Helen loved her animals, dogs Summer and Boomer and cats Opi and Jax, and had a passion for shopping on Temu.com what her family lovingly called her “addiction.”
Helen was preceded in death by her parents Clara Martin and George Parag, and brother Mark Martin. She is survived by her children Jim Pyle, Tammy Pyle-Ruggiero (John “Ghost”), and Robin Massetti (Jim); grandchildren Alexis Massetti, Ariel Massetti, and Julian Pyle; great-granddaughter Gianna Rothwell; siblings George Parag, John Parag, and Richard Martin.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 21 at 5 pm at the McCrery & Harra Funeral Home, 3710 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington, DE 19808 where the family will greet friends beginning at 4 pm. The family requests guests wear purple in remembrance of Helen. Burial will be private.
