Trish Partlow went through life with a smile in her eyes, service in her heart, and music on her lips. She treated everyone she encountered as a friend she hadn’t yet met. Trish lived a life of service. This included working for the homeless community with the Jesuit Volunteer Corps as well as donating her time to many roles at her church.
An educator at heart, Trish earned her M.Ed. degree from Seattle University and applied her love of teaching to every role she took on. Whether it was teaching CRE to children or training new employees at her job, those she taught were smarter and better afterward.
Anyone who knew her well will agree that everything Trish did was accompanied by a song. At any moment she might burst out singing the most appropriate song for the occasion. The compilation of all this music would create an amazing soundtrack to the life of a beautiful person.
Trish passed away on June 23, 2024. She will be missed by her husband, Dennis McGlone; mother Pat Partlow; father David Partlow (deceased); siblings Pamela Partlow (Bruce Maigatter), Sue Auman (Brian), Michael Partlow (Kelly); nieces Chloe Auman, Ruby Auman; and anyone else who had the great good fortune to know her.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 1 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church (4701 Weldin Road, Wilmington, DE 19803). The viewing will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment will take place the following day, July 2, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph on the Brandywine Cemetery (10 Old Church Rd, Wilmington, DE 19807). In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Gift of Life Philadelphia.
