Jeanne Berkeypile Buffum, age 76, loving wife of Robert passed away peacefully on June 28th at the Lorelton Assisted Living Facility where she has resided for the past two months.
Jeanne was born in Richmond, Virginia. She spent her days reading and writing poetry, participating in Bible studies, enjoying her time, love of horses and outings on the Chesapeake with family and friends.
She leaves behind her husband of 28 years, Robert, her brothers Dr. James Berkeypile of Summit, New Jersey, Bruce Berkeypile of Newark, Delaware, and her brother-in-law Glen Buffum of Folsom, Pennsylvania.
Friends are invited to a calling and memorial service at McCrery & Harra Funeral Home at 3924 Concord Pike, Wilmington Delaware 19803 on July 31st at 10:00 am, service will begin at 11:00 am. Inurnment immediately following the service at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Bear, Delaware.
