Lynn A. Wachowski Hagen, age 77 of Wilmington, DE passed away peacefully with loved ones by her side on July 12, 2024.
She was born and raised in Wilmington, DE and is the daughter of the late Margaret E. (Williams) and Edward E. Martin. Lynn was a graduate of P.S. duPont High School. After spending many years raising her children, in 1980 she chose to join the work force at Wilmington Trust as a secretary in the Audit Division.
Lynn most cherished career was being a grandmother. She enjoyed crochet, music, dancing (anywhere), reading, flower arranging, hanging out at the family pool and traveling. Overall, family and friends were the most important part of her life.
Lynn is survived by her children, Allison Gardner (Glen), Connie W. Brooks and Jason Wachowski (Melinda); nephew, Eric M. Martin (Kim). Preceded in death; son Stephen E. Wachowski (1991). Grandchildren, Charles S. Brooks (Lauren), Isabella R. Martin (Brandon) and J.B. Wachowski and a great grandson, James McMichael.
Preceded in death, loving husband Walter C. Hagen (1994), sister Leslie Martin and brother Britt Martin. Finally, survived by brother Edward “Rocky” Martin (Chris).
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 23 from 10-11 am at the McCrery & Harra, 3924 Concord Pike, Wilmington where a Celebration of Life will follow at 11 am, officiated by Lynn’s brother, The Rev. Dr. Edward E. Martin Jr. Inurnment will be at Gracelawn Memorial Park, New Castle, DE
