Mrs. Joan Marie Wolf passed away peacefully on Sunday September 1st, 2024. Joan was a loving wife and mother.
At an early age, Joan had dreams of becoming a professional dancer and later in life she danced with Anna Marie Dance Studio. She has worked at Leroy Fashions and Lane Bryant. She later had a long career as office manager at Honeywell. Joan married Allen Wolf in December of 1953 and they had a happy and fulfilling marriage of 71 years. Together they volunteered much of their time at Holy Rosary Church and Christiana Hospital. They loved to travel and visited many places and took many cruises around the world.
Joan and Allen had 3 children, Stephen David and Ronald. Joan was preceded in death by her parents Vince and Kitty Keough and her sons Stephen and Ronald. She is survived by her loving husband Allen, her son David and wife Paula, daughter in law Sheryl and husband Paul, 4 grandchildren, Adrian, Kelly, Christine, and Josh. Joan had 7 great grandchildren, Ashton, Layla, Jamison, Aiden, Cailin, Landon and Ryan. She will be greatly missed.
Friends are welcome from 10:00 am – 11:00 am on Friday September 13th, 2024 at Holy Rosary Church,3200 Philadelphia Pike Claymont, DE19703. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11:00 am Burial at All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association atalz.org.
