Karen McCune Apostolico, 77, of Wilmington, DE, passed away on September 7th, 2024, after a brief bout of pneumonia.
Karen was born on August 3rd, 1947 to Caroline Moon and Edward Griffiths, in Mckeesport, PA. She was a graduate of Mount Pleasant High School. She worked for many years in advertising for Patterson-Schwartz Real Estate and most recently at Gilpin Mortgage until retiring.
Karen loved to spend her time in her art room painting or outside gardening. She also loved to travel or get together with her friends and family.
Karen was predeceased by her parents, her sisters Sue and Linda, and her dog Mulligan.
She is survived by; her children, Jim Apostolico (Dawn), Dave Apostolico (Heather), and Lisa Brainard (Paul); grandchildren, Bailey, Erin, Paige, Brian, Conor, Cody, and Marie; her brother Jack Rosenberger and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, September 22, 2024, at 2:00, at The Barn at Cauffiel, 1016 Philadelphia Pike, Wilmington, DE 19809, where all are invited to share stories and memories of Karen.
