David E. McCormick passed away on September 17, 2024 at home surrounded by his family.
He was born in Wilmington, DE to the late Edward and Emma McCormick. David was a graduate of Valley Forge Military Academy and Youngstown University. He was a manager in logistics at DuPont for over 35 years.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years Kathleen McCormick, his children, Carey M. McCoy (Andrew White), D. Grier McCormick (Kate), his sister, Gail Banfield, his grandchildren, Patrick M. Nee (Maria Limmina), Caroline F. Nee, Elizabeth K. McCoy, Taylor B. McCoy, Ryan T. McCormick and Brayden G. McCormick.
A visitation will be held on Monday, September 23, 2024 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the McCrery & Harra Funeral Home, 3924 Concord Pike, Wilmington, DE 19803. Burial will be private.
