Robert T. Boulden, 69, from Wilmington, DE passed away peacefully in his home on September 19, 2024. He was born February 25, 1955 to Marion Curran and George Boulden. He started his career at age 15 in the fire service at Five Points Fire Company where he became a lifetime member. He graduated from Conrad High School and worked numerous EMT jobs including PROAM, Cranston Heights, Millcreek and Odessa. He retired from the Christiana Care Transport Team. Since retiring he has enjoyed delivering car parts for NAPA.
He enjoyed traveling to Ireland, spending time with his grandchildren at the pool and spend time at the beach. His grandchildren were the light of his world. He was always willing to help, mentor or just lend an ear. He left a lasting impression on lives with the people he met or worked with.
He is survived by two daughters, Michelle Harrison (Rob) and Christina Goode (Tony). He will be dearly missed by his brother and best friend, Hugh Ross (Catherine), and family. He is survived by his 5 grandchildren, Kendall, Adrionna, Kaiden, Kristopher and Lil’ Tony. He will be greatly missed by his nieces, nephews, colleges, and friends.
We would love for everyone to come celebrate our father’s life at Five Points Fire Company on Oct. 11, 2024 from 12-2:30pm. Please feel free to wear a Hawaiian shirt or something beach themed as he loved Jimmy Buffett. In lieu of flowers, donations be made to Five Points Fire Company at https://www.fivepoints17.com/page/donations. Until we meet again always remember “It’s 5 o’clock somewhere.”
