Magen was born in Wilmington Hospital to Ellen Oboryshko and James Oboryshko. She was older sister to Holly Oboryshko and loving aunt to Logan Oboryshko.
She grew up in Wilmington, graduated from Delcastle in 1995 and then moved with her family to Magnolia, Delaware. She was called home on October 30, 2024.
Magen was a fun-loving, kind, friendly, gregarious and outgoing individual who made friends wherever she went. Her laughter and charm were infectious and once she decided to be friends with you there was no escape. Her kindness and humor could brighten anyone’s day. She loved the color purple, butterflies, animals, rock music, horror movies, board games, cards, Friday night pig-outs, the beach and hanging out with family & friends.
Magen was the glue that kept so many of us together. But above all she adored her family. Her life was cut way too short but she will live on in the memories of the lives she touched.
A viewing will be held at the McCrery & Harra Funeral Home (3710 Kirkwood Hwy., Wilmington, DE 19808) on Wednesday, November 6th from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Services and interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Juvenile Diabetes Association.
