Ralph (Ray) Panos passed away peacefully the morning of November 1 at the age of 94.
He is survived by Mary, his wife of 68 years, and their children, Ralph, Juliana and Gregory, their spouses and six grandchildren and their spouses/partners.
Devoted to their family, Ray and Mary traveled to visit their children and their families in numerous states and attended many sporting events, concerts and graduations. Ray was actively involved with the Boy Scouts and with baseball teams. He loved yardwork and spent many hours in his gardens. During the summer, a special trip was a day at the Delaware shore, usually Cape Henlopen, with a stop for ice cream on the ride home and at one of the many farm stands for fresh peaches.
Ray spent his career spanning over three decades working for DuPont in Photo Products. His career took him from New Jersey to New York and finally to Delaware where he lived for over 50 years. While work took him to many places throughout the country as well as international locations, he liked nothing better than one of Mary’s home cooked meals.
