Kevin M. Clark passed away Nov. 3rd 2024.
Kevin was born on Oct. 30th 1963 to Ernest G Clark Jr. and the late Mary F. Clark. He grew up in Faulkland Heights and graduated in 1981 from Thomas McKean High School.
Kevin started working at Acme Markets in July 1981 and remained there until he passed away with 43 years seniority. He made lifelong friends who were coworkers, and customers at his store in University Plaza. He always had a story to tell about his encounters at the customer service desk.
Kevin loved cars, especially Mustangs and went to many car shows. He was a huge fan of Fleetwood Mac, especially Stevie Nicks, where he attended many shows for decades. He collected Howard Johnson Motor lodge and Holiday Inn memorabilia, always requesting a room where he could see their colorful sign at night when he was traveling. He loved animals, including his beloved dog Ashley, as well as 2 cats that he rescued, Gypsy and Mama. He also enjoyed feeding many stray cats around his home in Pleasant Hills.
Kevin is survived by his father (Elvira Smith), sister Ellen Jane Scheib (Gary), his Nephew Timothy Frieze, II (Diane) and their children, Bradley Albanese and Sophia Frieze, 2 Nieces, Rachel Alicea (Pedro) their children, Andres (Mannie) and Giselle Alicea. Heather Lewicki (John III) and their children, Adriana, Jaxin, Gavin, Shane, and Vaeda Lewicki as well as many cousins and friends.
A viewing will be held on Monday, Nov. 11th from 10:00 a.m.-12:00p.m. at McCrery & Harra Funeral Home, 3710 Kirkwood Hwy, Wilmington, DE 19808 followed by a service at 12 pm. Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery. For an online condolence visit www.mccreryandharra.com.
