Paul died of lung cancer, age 61 on Tuesday, November 12, 2024.
He was a beloved bartender at Buckley’s Tavern and insisted on making cocktails from scratch- no mixes. Paul was especially known for his jalapeño margaritas and his cosmos. He loved riding his bike every Tuesday down by the canal, or in Newark, later having lunch and making a day of it.
Paul is survived by his wife of 38 years, Mary Gregor (a.k.a. Mimi), and parrots Max and Petey.
A celebration of his life will take place at Buckley’s Tavern, 5812 Kennett Pike, Centreville, DE 19807 on December 1 at 4:15pm.
