Rosalie Fisher, age 70, of New Castle, DE died Sunday, November 17, 2024 at Christiana Hospital.
Rosalie was a longtime employee at Nemours Children’s Hospital, from which she retired after 18 years of service. Outside of work, she loved bowling, dancing, spending time at Rehoboth Beach, and being with her grandchildren.
Rosalie was predeceased by her daughter, Jennifer Fisher-Cook; and brother, Walter T. Boyer, Sr. She is survived by her daughters, Dawn Neitz (Ronald) of New Castle, DE, and Melanie Stille of Hockessin, DE; son, Steven Merritt (Kristen) of Northeast, MD; sisters, Dorothy Williamson (Kenneth), Emma Henry, and Sarah Perry; brother, Edgar Boyer, Jr.; grandchildren, Amber, Jessica, Tyler, Summer, Lanie, Hailey, Emily, Ava and Peighton; and great-grandchildren, Mya, Azaria, Joseph, Dior and Xolani.
Services for Rosalie will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 22 at Wilmington Church of the Brethren. Interment at Silverbrook Cemetery will follow. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the American Liver Foundation (P.O. Box 299, West Orange, NJ 07052).
