David Wayne Yeatman, age 58, of Wilmington, died peacefully at home on November 17, 2024 with his fiancé by his side.
Dave graduated from DelCastle Vo-Tech High School and worked for 28 years as an electrician with T.A. Rietdorf and Sons and the past 11 years with DiSabatino Construction. In his free time Dave enjoyed spending time with family in Ocean City, NJ as well as gardening and simply being outdoors.
Dave was predeceased by his father Wayne Yeatman and sister Susan Yeatman. He is survived by his fiancé Kim Gropp and her children Ashley and Timothy, mother Margaret “Peggy” Yeatman, brother Steve Yeatman (Melissa), son Nicholas Yeatman; and nephew and nieces Patrick, Grace and Clare.
A viewing will be held from 2-4pm on Saturday, November 23 at the McCrery & Harra Funeral Home, 3924 Concord Pike, Wilmington, DE 19803 with a funeral service at 4pm. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Dave’s name be made to Arts at Aldersgate, 2313 Concord Pike, Wilmington, DE 19803.
