Dorothy B. Plotts, age 100 passed away peacefully on Friday December 27, 2024 at Accent Care Hospice Newark, Delaware. Dorothy was born in Camden, NJ to the late Joseph and Rae Plotts.
Dorothy graduated from Newark High School, Class of 1942. After high school she began her 40-year career with DuPont. During her free time, it was spent traveling all over the world to each and every continent. She also loved spending as much time with her nieces, nephews and their children.
Dorothy is survived by her nephews, Joseph Plotts, Thomas Plotts, Fred Stafford and Lawrence Stafford: her nieces Barbara Wade and Cindy Hatfield. Along with numerus great nieces and nephews.
A graveside service for Dorothy will be held Friday January 3, 2025 at 2:00 pm at Silverbrook Cemetery 3300 Lancaster Pike, Wilmington DE 19805.
In lieu of flowers, Dorothy’s family kindly requests that donations be made in her memory to the Humane Animal Partners.
