Barbara Bradley Julian, age 87, of Wilmington, DE passed away peacefully on January 16, 2025.
She was born and raised in Wilmington and is the daughter of the late Margaret (Allegro) and John A. Bradley. She graduated from PS DuPont High School in 1955 and in 1958, she graduated from St. Francis School of Nursing.
Barbara enjoyed attending the sporting events of her grandchildren and great nieces and nephews; she and her sister Betty were fixtures at many games in the Wilmington area. She also enjoyed crossword puzzles and watching the Eagles, Phillies and many PBS mysteries.
Along with her parents, Barbara is also predeceased by her sisters, Elizabeth Nordquist, Marie Topalian and Patricia Huta and brother, James Bradley.
Barbara will be dearly missed by her husband Joseph; her children, Jim (Nancy), Maggie, Trishia, Nancy, Matt (Claire) and Kate; grandchildren, Nina (David), Michael (Jenna), Anna, Kiera, Aedan and Collette and great-grandchildren James, Graham, Shep and Rome, along with a host of nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23 from 10-11:45 am at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 4701 Weldin Rd, Wilmington where a Mass of Christian Burial will follow promptly at 12 noon. Burial will be at Cathedral Cemetery.
