Susan L. Hall (Devenney), 77, of Townsend, DE formerly of Newark, DE, passed away on January 30, 2025.
Susan was a 1965 graduate of Henry C. Conrad High School. She had worked at the Wilmington General Hospital, Wilmington Library as a secretary, Dairy Queen, Burger King, Blair for 11 years and Dollar Tree for 5 years. Susan enjoyed her time at Middletown Senior Center, as well as playing bingo, casinos, playing cards, dancing and spending time with family and friends.
Susan was preceded in death by her husband Boyd I. Hall; She is survived by her sister Andrea Smith (Richard), daughters Kimberly Hood (Douglas), Kathleen Rogerson (Jim) and Karla Werts (David); her grandchildren, Nathan Hood, Nicholas Hood, Jacob Hall, Kolbe Rogerson, Kyla Rogerson, David Werts, Shyleena Cook, Gary Cook, Kathryn Werts, and two great grandchildren.
A viewing will be Tuesday February 4, from 6-8 pm at McCrery and Harra Funeral Home, 3710 Kirkwood Highway Wilmington. Service will be Wednesday morning at 11am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Silverbrook Cemetery, 3300 Lancaster Pike, Wilmington.
