Patrick, Juliet C.

Juliet Calhoun Patrick, Age 89, of Wilmington, DE died on February 15, 2025. Born in Old Hickory, Tennessee, on January 1, 1936 to George R Calhoun, III and Juliet McRae Calhoun, Juliet lived in many places during her childhood including Buenos Aires Argentina, Indiana, Illinois, Oklahoma, and Washington state before moving to Seaford Delaware as a freshman in high school. Juliet graduated from Seaford High, then Goldey Beacom School of Business, before graduating from the University of Delaware. Juliet spent most of her career working in the libraries of E.J. Du Pont de Nemours and the Hagley Museum and Library and at the New Castle County judiciary. A longtime Episcopalian, she was a current member of St. Barnabas Episcopal Church in Wilmington. Mrs. Patrick’s husband of 48 years, Robert D. Patrick died in 2011. She is survived by her brother, G. Reid Calhoun, IV of Raleigh NC and three nephews, Patrick, George, and John Calhoun.

A funeral service with Holy Eucharist will be held at 11 am Saturday, March 15 at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church, Millcreek Hundred, with interment in the adjoining churchyard.The service will be followed by an informal reception at the church.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests honoring the memory of Juliet C Patrick by sending a donation to St. Barnabas Episcopal Church, 2800 Duncan Road, Wilmington, DE 19808.
