Neely, Colleen Teresa Flinn

Colleen Teresa Flinn Neely

March 15, 1970-February 28, 2025

With hearts full of love and gratitude, we celebrate the life of Colleen Teresa Flinn Neely, a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. Colleen’s time with us was filled with warmth, kindness, and an unwavering faith in God, which guided her every step. She touched the lives of so many, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and light.

Colleen’s greatest joy was her family. She shared a beautiful life with her loving husband, Robert Neely, and was the proud and devoted mother of Brianna and Dillon. She also embraced her role as a caring stepmother to Connor and Brendan. She was cherished by her mother, Connie Hamilton; her father, Joe Flinn Sr.; and her stepfather, Rafe Hamilton. Her love extended deeply to her siblings, Joe Flinn (wife Tracy) and Shannon Flinn (husband Bob), as well as her sister-in-law, Linda Flinn. Colleen adored her first cousin, Alan Brooks, and her wonderful nieces: Logan, Riley, Caitlin, Cassidy, and Marly.

Colleen’s passion for health, wellness, and holistic living was a reflection of her beautiful spirit. She believed in helping others live happier, healthier lives and dedicated her career to empowering people to care for themselves—mind, body, and soul. She embraced each day as a gift, meant to be lived with love and purpose.

A true adventurer at heart, Colleen found peace and joy in nature. Whether cycling, kayaking, camping, or exploring the great outdoors, she felt closest to God in the beauty of the world around her. She had a remarkable ability to find wonder in the simplest moments and invited others to share in that joy.

Colleen’s unwavering faith guided her life, bringing comfort, strength, and encouragement to all. She radiated love through her warmth, kindness, and infectious humor, making everyone feel cherished.

Though our hearts ache in her absence, we find comfort in knowing that Colleen’s love lives on in all of us. Her kindness, joy, and faith will continue to shine through the lives she touched.

A celebration of Colleen’s beautiful life will be held on her birthday, March 15, 2025, at 2:00 PM, at Brandywine Valley Church, 7 Mt. Lebanon Rd., Wilmington, DE. Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM prior to the service.

In her honor, we invite you to cherish your loved ones, embrace the beauty of nature, and share a little extra kindness—just as she always did.

Colleen’s love was boundless. Though she may no longer be with us in body, her light will shine forever.

“Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” — Matthew 5:16
