Timothy Wayne Schwalbauch, age 62, passed away on March 3, 2025.
Born in Newark, DE, he was the son of the late Harold “Wayne” and Nancy Schwalbauch. Tim proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps before building his own business, Exterior Works, specializing in roofing and siding.
He came from a large, close-knit family and cherished the time he spent with them. An active and passionate sports enthusiast, he remained dedicated to staying involved even after his accident, finding strength and purpose in his children and faith. He also competed in the Special Olympics, demonstrating his resilience and determination.
Above all, Tim was known for his sharp wit, lighthearted and playful spirit, and unwaveringly positive outlookâno matter what life threw his way. He had a way of making people laugh in even the toughest moments, always quick with a comeback and ready to turn any conversation into a battle of humor. His ability to find joy in every situation and share that joy with others will be deeply missed.
Tim is survived by his children, Tiffany Schwalbauch, Christina Schwalbauch, and Timothy John Schwalbauch, as well as his former wife, Emily Schwalbauch. He is also survived by his sisters, Nancy Thomas (Thomas), Candy Schwalbauch, and Vicky Piane (Bobby), along with his sister-in-law Marie Schwalbauch, and many beloved nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Henry “Hank,” Philip, Gary, Ronnie, and Robert “Bobbie” Schwalbauch.
Tim will be remembered for his strength, his love for his family, his unwavering faith, and his ability to bring laughter and light wherever he went.
