Dominic DiChristopher Jr, age 69, of Claymont DE, formerly of Philadelphia, PA, died on April 2, 2025 at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA, surrounded by family.

Dom was born September 30, 1955, in Philadelphia, PA. He was the son of Dominic and Marion (Crudeli) DiChristopher. He attended St. Monica’s grade school and graduated from Bishop Neumann High School and La Salle University.

After graduating, he started his career in banking at Philadelphia National Bank (PNB). He continued his career with banking while moving into the field of IT where he eventually retired with Barclays Bank in the Spring of 2021. In 1982, he was united in marriage to Roberta (Bobbie) Schaefer. Their union was blessed with two children. He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church where he was active in the Knights of Columbus. He was a devoted member of the Knights of Columbus, Christopher Council, for 33 years and during his time with the Knights he became a 4th degree member and served every position at the council level including multiple terms as Grand Knight.

Dom was a die-hard Philadelphia Eagles fan and a season ticket holder since 1961. He was such a dedicated fan that family and friends knew to schedule events around the Eagles schedule. His house was decked out in Eagles gear, and he could always be seen wearing his Eagles hat. In the end, one of his last requests was to have an Eagles shirt on.

Dom was a family man who is survived by his wife Bobbie, his children and their spouses: son Dominic and wife Leah and daughter Danielle and husband Michael, his grandchildren Angela, Dawson, Charley, Lydia, Annalyn and Angelena, and his sister Diane. Dom was welcomed into the arms of God by his parents Dominic and Marion DiChristopher.

A memorial service for Dom will be held at Holy Rosary Church located at 3200 Philadelphia Pike in Claymont, DE on Thursday, April 10 with visitation starting at 9:30 AM followed by a mass at 11:00 AM. Burial will be private.
