Linda Martin Drew, of West Grove PA, passed away peacefully on April 5, 2025 surrounded by her family, under the compassionate care of the hospice team at Christiana Hospital (Newark, DE) following a 12-year battle with Myelofibrosis/Acute Myeloid Leukemia.
Born in Philadelphia, PA in August 1946, Linda was the oldest daughter of Dr. David A. Drew and Jane M. Drew. Linda was a graduate of Dickinson HS (Wilmington, DE) and Hood College. She worked for Ashford Consulting Group for over 30 years retiring as Managing Director. Linda was active in her church serving as an Elder, Deacon and additional committees at Red Clay Creek Presbyterian Church, enjoyed investment and book clubs, and was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies.
Linda is survived by her children, Andrew Wolford (Sarah) of Middletown, DE and Julie Holcombe of Avondale, PA, her sister, Elizabeth DeFiglio (Gerard) of Poughkeepsie, NY and grandchildren: Abigail, Ella & Reagan Holcombe, Kelly and Joseph Tobler.
A memorial service will be held at Red Clay Creek Presbyterian Church, 500 McKennans Church Road, Wilmington, DE on Monday, April 14th, a visitation will be held from 10:30-11:00 am with service and burial to follow.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Red Clay Creek Presbyterian Church or the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
