Ciccaglione, William Paul “Chick”

Age 71, of Lawrenceville, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, April 5, 2025. A Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, April 11, 2025, at Tim Stewart Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Georgia.

A Visitation and Funeral Service will take place at Red Clay Creek Presbyterian Church in Wilmington, Delaware on Tuesday, April 15, 2025. Beginning at 11:00 AM with services at 12:30 PM.

Chick grew up attending Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Elsmere, Delaware. He then attended Red Clay Creek Presbyterian Church until moving to Georgia in 1994. He then attended Lawrenceville Presbyterian Church. He was a 1971 graduate of Conrad High School in Wilmington, Delaware. He proudly served as a police officer and volunteer firefighter in his hometown of Elsmere. Being an entrepreneur, he owned Chicklo Bros. Construction and also Delaware Pottery Outlet, before transitioning into commercial property management and real estate until his retirement. Chick enjoyed coaching in the community baseball leagues for his children. He was an avid golfer, and his days at Northwood Country Club with friends and family were very special to him. Like his father, Chick had a love for bowling and was on several leagues. He proudly achieved a perfect (300) game. He enjoyed spending sunny afternoons outdoors, often on his back deck watching birds visit his feeders. In his later years, Chick loved time spent “down on the farm,” riding the tractor with Oakleigh by his side.

Chick will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, and Papa Chick, who adored his four grandchildren. After a long and difficult battle, Chick lost his fight with Myasthenia Gravis. He and his wife, Joy, began their married life at Red Clay Creek Presbyterian Church, where Chick will also be laid to rest. His legacy continues helping to improve the lives of others by being an organ donor. Chick was preceded in death by his parents Paul Albert and Alice Rebecca “Judy” (Reganauer) Ciccaglione; sister, Linda Brice; brothers, Donnie Everett, Paul Ciccaglione, and Eddie Riley; and mother-in-law, Phyllis Musser. He is survived by his devoted wife of over 50 years, Joy (Musser) Ciccaglione, Lawrenceville, GA; daughter, Sheree´ Betts, Wilmington, DE; son, Bryan (Kimberly) Ciccaglione, Monroe, GA; grandchildren, Christopher and Breanna Betts, Jaxson and Ryleigh Ciccaglione; brothers, Danny (Jeanette) Ciccaglione, and David Ciccaglione; brother-in-law, Calvin Brice; father-in-law, Lewis “Buck” Musser; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Patti (Jim) Jeffers, Kenny (Linda) Musser, Linda (Matt) Hanna, Jackie (Lee) Hagenbach, and many nieces and nephews.
