Thomas Howard Hall, 56, passed away suddenly on October 23, 2026.
Tom devoted his professional life to the art and craft of landscaping and groundskeeping. Throughout his career with Turf Management Co. and the DuPont Country Club, he took pride in maintaining the beautiful greens and fairways that others enjoyed. His work reflected a lifelong appreciation for the outdoors and the care and dedication that went into creating and preserving its beauty.
A lifelong member of Concord Presbyterian Church in Fairfax, Wilmington, Tom maintained a connection to the church throughout his life.
Tom will be lovingly remembered by his mother, Carol H. Lind of Wilmington, Delaware; his brother, Dennis G. Hall of Tucson, Arizona; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gerry G. Hall of Silsbee, Texas; his brother, Daniel Kevin Hall of Bear, Delaware; and his stepfather, Philip C. Lind, Jr. of Wilmington, Delaware.
A memorial service honoring Tom’s life will be held on Saturday, November 14, at 2:00 p.m. at McCrery & Harra Funeral Home, 3924 Concord Pike, Wilmington, Delaware 19803. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be private.
In recognition of Tom’s love for the many dogs who were part of his life, memorial contributions may be made to the Brandywine Valley SPCA, 290 Churchmans Road, New Castle, Delaware 19720.
